Evidence and clear attribution
Articles should link to the material supporting their key claims. Product specifications and software requirements should be checked against current official documentation. Research coverage should explain what a study actually examined and the limits of its findings. Company claims, independent findings, and our analysis should be clearly distinguished.
News, guides, and reviews
Confirmed announcements should be separated from rumours and open questions. Prices, availability, and regional differences should be dated where relevant. A researched comparison must not imply hands-on testing. Any article describing a test should explain what was tested and how; illustrative examples and calculations should be labelled.
Original value and images
Coverage should help readers answer a practical question through useful explanations, comparisons, checklists, diagrams, or documented analysis. Illustrations, including AI-generated illustrations, should be identified as such and must not masquerade as product photographs or evidence of an event. Explanatory diagrams should be checked for accuracy.
Updates, corrections, and disclosures
Substantive corrections should be clearly noted on the affected article, with the change and date explained. Material commercial relationships, sponsorships, and affiliate links should be disclosed where they affect coverage. A public contact route for editorial questions and correction requests is still being arranged.
